Jennifer Hudson, Usher Raymond & More Get STARS On Hollywood Walk Of Fame, Plus Jennifer’s Controversial “Winnie Biopic” Trailer Released! (Video)

The singers and comedian will receive a star on Hollywood’s famous Boulevard next year when they will be honoured for their contributions to music and entertainment. 

Usher‘s career has spanned more than 15 years and involves several multi-platinum albums, while “American Idol” Jennifer Hudson also joins the long list of entertainers rose to fame and won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Dreamgirls.
Comedian and “Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man” author Steve Harvey will also proudly receive his star after more than 30 successful years in the business.

Unfortunately, Luther will not be able to receive his award in person following his passing in 2005.

David Green, Chairman of the Walk of Fame selection committee said in a statement:

“The Walk of Fame committee is proud to announce next year’s honorees whose additions to the world famous Hollywood Walk of Fame will bring everlasting memories of their star power, talent, and popularity to the millions who visit Hollywood each year and which will shine even more light on the entertainment capital of the world.”

The movie is Directed by Darrell Roodt, and shown at several movie festivals around the world, charts Winne’s life from her childhood through her husband Nelson Mandela‘s incarceration and her own year in solitary confinement. Terrence Howard will be starring opposite Jen as Nelson Mandela, and I’m sure there will be Oscar-buzz once again for both of them next year
