Its been a tough week for “Good Morning America” host Robin Roberts from announcing her rare blood disease to now the passing of her mother.
The tv personality and her sister, Sally-Ann, who’ll be Robin’s bone marrow donor, was able to make it back home to see their mother one last time.
Mrs. Roberts, who was the first African American to head Mississippi’s Board of Education, co-wrote Robin’s My Story, My Song book and accompanied Robin on the book tour. Plus, Robin’s job will be doing a tribute to Mrs. Roberts on an upcoming show.
She also took to twitter yesterday, saying:
This morning is a memory I will cherish forever. Thank you and bless you. Sally-Ann and I are on our way to be with our beloved mother. X0
This is a really sad news to report, and our prayers are with you Robin!
