Early this morning, Rapper Beanie Sigel dropped by New York City’s Power 105.1 “The Breakfast Club” to chat about his impending prison sentence and his relationship with former record label Roc-A-Fella.
The 38 year old rapper chatted about his failed relationship with Roc founders Jay-Z and Damon Dash, saying they’re no longer on speaking terms and he doesn’t plan on rebuilding their friendship. And his upcoming two-year prison sentence, after being found guilty of tax evasion. More details below……
“No, I pretty much think the Roc-A-Fella thing is over,” Beanie also gave a shout out Maybach Music member, Meek Mill, even claiming the youngster is similar to how Beanie was when he first started out in the rap game.
“I love Meek man for what he doing. Looking at Meek Mills is a fun thing to do it’s like looking at myself coming up with Roc-A-Fella at the age of 22, 23-years-old, the same thing with Ross, with Maybach Music and accomplishing what he’s doing is a good feeling.”
