Aaliyah’s Posthumous Album Cover Art Unveiled By Her Uncle On Twitter!

Just a few weeks ago, Drake released a track which featured vocals of the deceased songstress, with many fans asking questions about the anticipated project.

Well fans are one step closer to finding out the real deets on the project, after the album cover art was unveiled yesterday via Twitter by Aaliyah’s uncle. More details below…..

According to taletela,
“Despite her family speaking out against it and not in support, it seems the project is definitely in the pipeline, and now Aaliyah’s uncle and former manager, Barry Hankerson, CEO of Blackground Records, has posted the official cover art of the album, along with a clue about the possible release date.”

The album artwork features the image of the singer as she swims to the surface of the ocean in her last video ‘Rock the Boat,’ with her face superimposed in the symbol of the letter ‘A.’

Tweeted Hankerson,

”Aaliyah posthumous 2013 16 unreleased tracks produced by @Drake @OVO40 Enough said’ #TeamAaliyah RT.”

Drake, who will be the executive producer of the album, recently revealed more on the project during an interview with MuchMusic, saying,

”People should be really excited man. A lot of people thought it was my single, it’s not my single. It’s all off an Aaliyah project that me and 40 are commanding, and 40’s just doing some incredible, incredible music right now.”

I really think they should let her rest in peace!…. What’s your take on this, and will you be copping the album?
