The 42 -year old hip hop mogul partnered with 2K Sports to executive produce the new video game. And in a statement released by Jigga, he had this to say:
“This has been a unique opportunity to collaborate with 2K and be a part of one of the best sports video games in history,” NBA 2k13 will be the next evolution in sports and basketball culture, and I’m ready to usher in the new era of the franchise.”
The will feature many soundtracks from his bestie Kanye West, Daft Punk, Dirty Projectors, Phoenix, Nas, Santigold, Coldplay, Meek Mill, and some of his very own singles.

More than 7,000 tickets for Jay Z’s opening night concert will be sold for $29 — nearly half the seats for the three-night gig.
The modestly priced upper bowl seats will also be available for the rapper’s Sept. 29 and Sept. 30 gigs and will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. They can be bought online at www.barclayscenter.com or www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-745-3000.
Fans looking for better seats will have to shell out anywhere from $60 to $254.50. The venue will fit 14,586 concert-goers.
