CRAZY NEWS: 20 Year-old Black Female SET ON FIRE By KKK In Louisiana!

20 year-old Sharmeka Moffitt, a black female, was found with half her body severely burned on Sunday night, with her car tagged with “KKK” letters and a few racial slurs.

According to Louisiana State Police spokeswoman LT. Julie Lewis, after police officials responded to Moffitt’s emergency call, they found her with half of her body badly burned along with her car being vandalized.

Where the victim told cops that a few men wearing white hoodies or hats doused her in a flammable liquid and then set her on fire at a park in Winnsboro, a town in Franklin Parish, but failed to identify her attackers race.

Lewis said Moffitt extinguished the fire using water from a spigot before the police officer arrived. A Franklin Sheriff Kevin Cobb is saying,

“This was a horrific event, and we will follow the facts and seek justice.”

The president of the local branch NAACP, a civil rights group, Otis Chisley said that he had been in touch with Moffitt’s distraught family. Also adding, he’s waiting for more facts to come to light before drawing any conclusions about what happened and that “everyone wants to move with caution.”

According to the NYdaily, Otis said regardless of the investigation’s outcome, racism and KKK activity remain a fact of life in the state.

“It’s prevalent throughout Louisiana, but it’s hidden and do exists.”

Her mom, Edna had this to say:

“She was just out exercising at the park. And to my acknowledge, she has never been threatened.” the mother in tears said at a Monday afternoon news conference at LSU hospital, according to the Shreveport Times.

“I have never known anything like this to happen in Winnsboro.”

Plus, many reports are claiming that she was jogging in a President Obama T-shirt, but that’s not true, said Edna.

With no arrests being made as of late Monday, the FBI is currently investigating the attack as a possible hate crime. And Moffitt will be going into surgery later on today (Tuesday, October 23).
