Mary J. Blige Hit With A Hefty Lawsuit + Snoop Dogg Holding Out On The IRS, OWES $546K In Back Taxes!

“Queen of R&B” Mary J. Blige has reportedly been hit with a hefty debt of $901,769.65 including late fee charges.

According to the lawsuit filed by Bank of America in New York State Supreme Court earlier this month, the singer failed to pay off her $500,000 bank loan from 2005, after she stopped making monthly payments last June 2012.
And in another lawsuit filed last November by Manhattan’s Signature Bank, Blige and her husband, Martin Isaacs, were also accused of defaulting on a $2.2 million loan from October 2011. Where the financial institution is seeking the full loan amount along with a $58,000 interest charge.
This is the latest financial trouble for Mary after her charity, “The Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now Inc.,” was accused of mishandling funds and failing to pay back a loan last year.
And as for the Manhattan’s Signature Bank lawsuit, Mary’s “Mary Jane Productions Inc.,” was also named in the filed suit.
In other Lawsuit news:
Rapper Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion is also facing a lawsuit, after failing to pay back taxes stemming from 2009 and 2011 in the amount of $546,270.29.
According to the docs, Snoop owes $101,952.44 (in 2009) and  $444,317.85 (in 2011).
However, this is not the first time Snoop has been hit with a tax lien, as he reportedly owed $476,000 in unpaid taxes in 2008 which he therefore paid in full.
