The real reason for me to post this video was because of an incident I witnessed three weeks ago on my avenue in The Bronx, New York City.
Here’s what went down… It was a regular day at home relaxing and chatting with my mom when I over heard shots being fired. Soon after the gunmen fled the crime scene, nine police cars arrived and started attacking civilians– most were just teenage boys.
The whole incident was heartbreaking as I silently watched through my window and never once thought of recording it. I honestly felt like the officers were over stepping their authority and arresting residence on false charges. The scene was too graphic that I had to turn a blind-eye and walked away.
Now, I was reading this article and saw a video of what police officers are capable of and it’s only getting worst. The video commentator even kept reminding viewers of that 1991 Rodney King beating in Los Angeles. King also passed away last year at the age of 47.
Here a few words that also inspired me to do this article (courtesy of SpilldaBeanz)
“People please continue to film the police in public when you witness this type of nonsense. It’s sad and just pathetic to see that the same people we trust to serve and protect us, are the same ones killing us!! And Noooo, I’m not saying all cops are bad…but yes… majority are!”
