After failing to sign a prenuptial agreement, reality star and famed Olympian Bruce Jenner is now asking for spousal support from his estranged wife, Kris Jenner following their split, reports RadarOnline.
63-year-old Bruce, who parlayed his Decathlon gold medal from the 1976 Montreal Olympics into his famous Wheaties endorsement and other lucrative deals, says he took a back seat to Kris, 57,– the “momager” at the helm of the multimillion-dollar “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” entertainment empire — to take care of his family and keep a personal watch over his daughters Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 16.
One legal expert said Bruce could turn the tables on his wife in a messy divorce.
“My understanding is that he’s subjugated himself and his career – his motivational speaking, training and aviation business – to be the stay at home dad for the two children they had together,” New York divorce lawyer Steven J. Eisman told the NY DailyNews.
“If he takes the position that he stopped pursuing his career because they had an agreement he was going to watch these kids, that would give him a good claim for alimony and the need to support the lifestyle they enjoyed together,” Eisman, who runs the family law practice at Abrams Fensterman in Lake Success, said.
