Mona Scott-Young and the producers of VH1‘s “Love & Hip Hop: New York” just confirmed a major shakeup with the cast members by firing almost half the cast and signing on some new faces who they promise to bring lots of new drama to the show.
While some old faces remain — Yandy Smith, Tahiry Jose, Erica Mena, and welcome to New York, K.Michelle! — there are three new women on the block.. Amina Buddafly, Tara Wallace and Erica Jean.
According to BOSSIP, Mona handed Olivia, Raqi Thunda, Jen the Pen (who won’t be needing that new stylist after she was tweeting shopping for one), Consequence, Winter Ramos, Rashidah Ali, and Lore’l their walking papers with a pink slip attached to them before the taping of the new season.
