On Saturday night, Amar’e Stoudemire celebrated his 31st birthday with his wife Alexis Welch at Bowery hot spot the General in New York City.

The 31-year-old NY Knicks player was joined by Yankee CC Sabatha, fellow Knicks Iman Shumpert and Andrea Bargnani, Milwaukee Bucks’ Drew Gooden and the restaurant’s owners, EMM Group’s Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum.

After dinner, the guests including the stylish birthday boy headed downstairs to enjoy music from hip-hop artist Fabolous who performed his hit song “Say Aah.” Fab also performed at the baller’s birthday event back in 2011 at Catch Roof in the big apple.

And according to newyork.cbslocal, the NY Knicks recently made a trade deal with Celtics manager Danny Ainge for four-time NBA All Star champ Rajon Rondo, who is coming off Knee injury and wont be playing ball anytime soon. Ainge is however not interested in the deal but is said to be open in trading Gerald Wallace and/or Courtney Lee for Amar’e.

Do you think the Knicks is ready to let go of Amar’e to the Boston Celtics?
