Grammy & Academy-Award winning actress and singer Jenner Hudson was honored with her first Hollywood ‘Walk of Fame’ star on Wednesday evening.

The “Bleed for Love” singer accepted the 2,512th star and tearfully paid homage to her late mother; “My mom is in heaven saying,’Jenny stop crying!’ But now’s the time to cry mama.”

Hudson, who rocked her new pixie hair-do and a cute white dress, also thanked the paparazzi citing, “even though ya’ll get on my nerves sometimes, but we’re all one.”

According to Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, “We are so happy to honor Jennifer Hudson with a star on the Walk of Fame. She is a great talent and a great addition to our Walk of Fame. Fans from all over the world have been waiting for this special day since we announced Jennifer’s selection for the star.”

Hudson was also joined by her fiance David Otunga and son David Jr. along with Music legend Clive Davis, Ledisi, and singer/producer Raphael Saadiq who praised her life story as an inspiration.
