After getting dropped from Los Angeles Clippers earlier this year due an “alleged” drug use, former NBA star Lamar Odom is hinting a return to the Clippers following a two hour-long conversation with the team’s management on Friday.
Sources told USWeekly that the 34-year-old basketball player had several meetings with his former team, met the players and is set to re-sign in the upcoming months.
This story was confirmed by the Clippers coach Doc Rivers who said he had a conversation with Lamar and has a lot of interest in the troubled forward but would not comment on the status of any negotiations.
The DailyNews reports, Lamar was seen landing at LAX airport on Sunday morning and apparently told waiting TMZ reporters that discussions were underway for his return to the court.
Lamar played for the Los Angeles team in the 2012/2013 NBA season but was not re-signed by the Clippers despite their best attempts.
The 6 foot 10 inch baller has had a turbulent time in the past of months as he has reportedly battled addiction issues and marital woes with his reality star wife Khloe Kardashian.
