Vikings Cornerback A.J. Jefferson Charged With A Felony After Strangling Girlfriend!

Minnesota Vikings cornerback A.J. Jefferson is currently being held on $40,000 bail and facing 3 years in jail for allegedly strangling his girlfriend, reports TMZ.

Jefferson’s girlfriend told the police that she and A.J. got into a heated argument on Monday (November 25th) during a text conversation in which she later ignored his text message. The girlfriend also claims that once he came home and the alleged violence began. 

Jefferson’s girlfriend claims:

“[A.J.] Grabbed my neck and I could not breath. He then picked me up by the neck and threw me off the bed and onto the floor.”

Soon after the incident, she allegedly ran to a nearby police station with red marks on her neck, and Jefferson was later charged for assault and arrested that same night.

The very next day, A.J. was cut by the Minnesota Vikings. Ouch!
