Mega retailer, Target, has reportedly declared war against pop superstar Beyonce and her self-tiled album, ‘Beyonce.’

Target recently chatted with Billboard.com and directly told them that BeyHive fans shouldn’t go looking for the “Drunk In Love” singer’s album in their store, because they have no plans on carrying it.

According to Target’s spokesperson Erica Julkowski:

“At Target we focus on offering our guests a wide assortment of physical CDs, and when a new album is available digitally before it is available physically, it impacts demand and sales projections,” Erica tells Billboard.

She continued, “While there are many aspects that contribute to our approach and we have appreciated partnering with Beyonce in the past, we are primarily focused on offering CDs that will be available in a physical format at the same time as all other formats. At this time, Target will not be carrying Beyonce’s new self-titled album ‘Beyonce.'”

This news comes in light following the release of Bey’s latest “Visual” album, which has already sold over 880,000 copies since its exclusive release on iTunes last week and will be available in Walmart stores on December 20th.
