44-year-old ‘American Idol’ judge Jennifer Lopez revisited her hometown of the Bronx, New York City, this week to ring in the New Year.
Lopez aka ‘Jenny from the Block,’ shared a photo of herself on Facebook standing on a train platform in South Bronx., (maybe its the same 6-line station from her 1999 album, where she sang about traveling on as a struggling artist).
The songstress wore a skin-tight jeans with leather/fur hoodie jacket, a NY baseball cap and black ankle boots. She captioned the photo, “Happy New Year to all my Jlovers 2014 is our bxxch!!!LOL!!!#letsgetit #LOVE.”
But according to past news reports, the artist enjoys visiting the block in which she grew up on, just to constantly remind herself of where she came from before she became a superstar.
Plus, Lopez will be joined by a new panelist Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban for the upcoming two-night season premiere of American Idol Season 13: The Search For A Superstar is scheduled to air on Wed., Jan. 15 and Thurs., Jan. 16 at 8/7c on Fox.
