After being tossed out of a Malibu rehab facility for a second time in four months, which instantly violated a judge’s orders for him to get treatment, Chris Brown has now been sentenced to serve one month in jail until his D.C assault trial next month.
Earlier today, it was reported on TMZ that Brown has been ordered to spend one month behind bars due to the singer’s “inability to stay out of trouble.”
Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin said rehab officials reported to him that Brown said during a group session: “‘I am good at using guns and knives.'” His comment was in response to an exercise in which Brown was asked to reflect on things he was good or excelled at.
The ‘Loyal’ singer is expected to appear infront of a D.C judge on April 17, and will also answer to his probation violation in the Rihanna beating case on April 23rd.
The rehab facility cited three other violations of its rules, claiming Brown refused to take a drug test, made a statement that alarmed rehab officials, and was seen touching the elbow of a female client.
Officials claim Brown’s “inappropriate” month long relationship” with a female worker had been going on for some time now.
As previously reported, Chris was thrown out of rehab for smashing his mom’s car windows with a rock after she paid him a visit back in November. The singer’s mom is said to have pissed him off for slamming [Breezy’s] on-again-off-again girlfriend Rihanna.
A source close to Brown told Hollywood Life, “He’s going through some serious legal troubles and it’s hard for him, he’s hurting. This whole D.C. thing is looming over his head and he feels like there’s no end in sight. It is what it is. This too, shall pass.”
