Alicia Keys Recruits Kendrick Lamar & Pharrell For “It’s On Again” New Track + Pharrell Joins NBC’s “The Voice”

Alicia Keys has recruited some hip hop heavy hitters such as Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmer for her “Amazing Spider-Man 2” track entitled, “It’s On Again.”

Keys, who is excited about releasing the new single, told The Hollywood Reporter that the track captures the meaning behind the film:

“I’m very excited to be a part of such a powerful collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmer,” Keys said in a release. “This is the next chapter in the Spider-Man legacy and we really feel ‘It’s On Again’ captures the experience, the story — and most importantly — the meaning behind the film, which is that we all have the potential to be extraordinary. There’s a little bit of a superhero in all of us.”

The track is produced by Pharrell and has his signature written all over it. It’s definitely poised to be a hit, have a listen for yourself.

Also, it was announced Monday that Pharrell will be joining season 7th of NBC’s “The Voice” as a coach… lending his innovative expertise.

Despite his “Happy” single sitting at #1 on the music charts, Williams will be replacing CeeLo Green on the talent show.

NBC’s official Twitter handle sent out the following tweet with the above photo attached:

“Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #NewVoiceCoach for SEASON 7.”

Williams responded with:

“This is going to be so fun ?”

The Grammy-winning producer is also gearing up to debut his own unisex clothing line with Adidas and is set to launch his first fragrance later this year.
