The 2018 Golden Globes graced television screens last evening and if anything was obvious, it was the amount of black that graced the infamous red carpet. Celebrities took a stance and wore the dark shade in support of Time’s Up.

“TIME’S UP is a unified call for change from women in entertainment for women everywhere. From movie sets to farm fields to boardrooms alike, we envision nationwide leadership that reflects the world in which we live.

Powered by women, TIME’S UP addresses the systemic inequality and injustice in the workplace that have kept underrepresented groups from reaching their full potential.”

What remained the same at the awards show was the amount of gorgeous gowns and unique, tailored jackets. We’ve rounded up our favourites – those who stunned and stood tall.

It was a very bold political move to make at such a long running awards show, but it seemed to be pulled off perfectly. With Big, Little Lies and the Handmaid’s Tale taking home a golden statue during this amazing night, everyone went home feeling like a winner.

What you do think of this stance? Would you have joined in and donned a black frock? Also, would you judge those who chose colour? …but the real question is, does anyone look better than Claire Foy in a suit?
